对于something， somebody， nothing, nobody大多只停留在最浅层的书面理解上，在口语中，它们的用法可要更接地气！01. something=真厉害，很重要 Something：a person or a thing that is important or worth noticing厉害人物，风云人物/厉害的，值得关注的事You're really something.你真厉害！你可真牛逼！He's quite something since he was in college.在大学他就是个风云人物了。That movie was really something!那部电影很棒！Isn't that something?那难道不算厉害吗？02. somebody=成功，优秀的人 somebody表示： an important or valuable person一个和成功，重要， 名气相关的人I'll be somebody when I grow up.我长大后一定会成为一个大人物。She could have been somebody if she didn't sacrifice for her family.如果不为家庭牺牲，她本可以成为一个大人物的。 03. nobody=无名小卒 与somebody相反，nobody=无名小卒，无名小辈倒也不是“一事无成的人”，一个普通人而已I'm just a nobody.我只是一个很平凡的人。I don't wanna be nobody. I'm born to be somebody.我不想当一个无名小辈。我生来就是要成为一个大人物的。04. nothing=一无是处的人 nothing比nobody更带贬义表示：一无是处的人，没有价值的人someone's nothing(中间不加a)He's nothing.他一无是处。把爱一个人当作全部的人会说：Without you, I'm nothing.如果没有你，我什么都不是。nothing强调一个人的”社会地位，价值“下面这个则更注重“功能性” good-for-nothing啥都不会做（有点废物的感觉）一个字总结：uselessYou don't know how to type? Good-for-nothing loser!你不会打字？真是个废物。
