17: How Fortune 500 company CEO, Greg Creed, is empowering the next generation of his family to be smart about money.

In this episode I speak with Greg Creed, former CEO of Fortune 500 company Yum! Brands Inc.,(parent company of Pizza Hut, KFC and Taco Bell). Greg retired in 2019 after a successful 25-year career with the company, and now runs his own marketing & branding firm, and serves on several boards including Delta Airlines and Girls Inc. Greg graduated from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia and was awarded an honorary doctorate in 2019. Greg gives us a rare glimpse into his family life, and tells us how corporate America is helping address financial literacy. He explains that formative childhood experiences are so important because habits from childhood stick with you for life, and why being transparent with his family about money is about empowering the next generations.
