Autoimmune Simplified

Autoimmune Inflammatory Bowel Disease with Danielle Gaffen, MS, RDN, LD

16 Jun 2021

Description

We all know there is no one-size-fits-all approach to health and nutrition, but this is especially true for those with Inflammatory Bowel Disease.  Different guts tolerate foods differently with this condition so it’s imperative that we’re addressing each individual’s unique needs according to their body, backgrounds, tastes, and personal goals. In this episode of The Autoimmune Simplified Podcast, we chat with Danielle Graffen about nutritional strategies that those with autoimmune inflammatory bowel disease can realistically and practically apply in their lives.  Having this information and establishing achievable goals will empower you to meet your nutritional needs, manage your symptoms, and feel better!  ……. About Danielle Gaffen, MS, RDN, LD Danielle Gaffen is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and founder of Eat Well Crohn’s Colitis, a virtual tele-nutrition practice in the United States. Danielle's husband has Crohn's disease and her mom had an ileostomy (that was ultimately reversed). Understanding the link between nutrition and gut disease prompted Danielle to obtain her master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences, become a registered dietitian, and ultimately specialize in nutrition for people with IBD.
