Christian YA Fantasy Author Interview with Glen Gabel: The Soothsayer
19 Apr 2024
Today's Christian YA fantasy author interview with Glen Gabel was very interesting. He is a screenwriter and author who recently published his debut YA fantasy novel, The Soothsayer. Although his work is not strictly Christian, it does have elements from the Bible and Gaelic Mythology. He graduated from the University of Southern California, worked as a production assistant under Joss Whedon at Mutant Enemy/ Fox, and later worked as a professional copyeditor. Today, we are talking about the differences between being a screenwriter and a novelist and world-building when pulling inspiration from things like the Bible and Gaelic folklore.
