Interview With Wayne Wright. Today we had the privilege of interviewing Wayne Wright, former San Jose State University Head Coach for the women's gymnastics team. Currently, Wayne works for the 49ers education-community based programs and consults with No Cap Sports. We discussed some of the fears of coaching in today's culture. Coaching today becomes a balance of acknowledging the pressure to help a team win, succeed, becoming a coach that doesn't feel that their past will be judged at any given moment with the possibility of losing their job, or wondering if they are meeting the expectations of the parents. Coaching 20 years ago was different than it is today-- and there is a lot to discuss around this topic! We are so grateful Wayne Wright opened up about the nuances of the coaching world today.
