After hearing her sing, Kelly Clarkson said, “That's what we need in the music industry, just a revamp of actual talent.” Katie opens up in this raw conversation about life on one of the most acclaimed music talent shows and what life has been like since. We talk about what life was like for her growing up, being “different” from the other kids and how that held her back from following her dreams of music for so long. With the help of some great friends she was able to take the step onto the biggest stage of her life and come out on top.
