Introduction Jim Reid has over 40 years of Emergency Response and Emergency Management experience. His career includes 20 years as a United State Air Force Firefighter/Fire Officer, County Fire Marshal, Deputy Sheriff Commander, Director Emergency Management, Executive Director Department of Public Works and Director of the Pikes Peak Regional Office of Emergency Management. He has responded to terrorist attacks in Germany, Loma Prieta Earthquake in California, Oakland Hills Fire California, Waldo Canyon Fire Colorado and managed and active office of emergency management during the Covid-19 pandemic. Jim served on multiple boards both locally and at the state level. Recently Reid was tasked with combining El Paso County and the City of Colorado Springs offices of Emergency Management into a regional team. Currently, Jim is retired and serves as the chair of the Falcon Fire Protection District Board.
