From serving overseas as a Mowag (armoured personnel carrier) driver to hitting the books again and completing his leaving certificate while in the army Shane's ambition didn't stop there. He went on to pursue a business degree from the renowned Dublin Business School. His adventurous spirit led him to take a significant leap of faith. Leaving the Defence Forces midway through his degree, he jumped into the vibrant world of fintech with an Irish company, climbing the ranks from Graduate QA to Program and Operations Coordinator. That entrepreneurial fire burned bright, and soon, Shane founded 'Player Passport', an innovative platform that captures the skillsets of GAA players right from their early days. His collaboration with 3rd-level institutes showcases the kind of forward-thinking mindset he possesses. In addition to being an entrepreneur, Shane's passion for GAA is evident. Now working as a Games Promotions Officer for Dublin GAA, Shane is at the forefront of promoting the sport at grassroots ushering in the next generation of talent to the GAA.
